Golly! It's been 2 years since I've posted anything. In my defense it's because I was working on a book (which I finished and published last year - "Just Add Sugar ~ the Sweetness of His Presence" and then my laptop crashed (from too much use?)! So...starting today I hope to post a little something at least every once in awhile. And that means I must get my camera out to make sure it has batteries! Ta Ta! I'm off to check!
I love the quilted look and most everything vintage. This is a card I did for a friend who had our family over for lunch - the whole lot of us (6 total, plus our pooch). It was a great time and she is a great friend!
This is a card I made for a family whom I've only met once. Two of their sons are in the military and one was seriously wounded. This, along with more cards from other friends, was sent to brighten their day...knowing they were being thought about and prayed for.
Here's the cake Hannah made in honor of our Pig Roast at church tomorrow. And in case you're wondering, yes...it's homemade! Vanilla with buttercream frosting and fondant!
A very sweet boy at my church is turning 3 this weekend. His favorite color is "camo!" Here's his birthday card, though I wish I had of done the candles and balloons in camo instead of the "background." He's 3...what will he care? Will he even notice? I doubt it!
I'm the lady whose enjoying life to the full every way she can! I have a marvelously-wonderful husband and 7 great kids who keep me more than busy. I have a part-time job at my church where I'm not only the bookkeeper, I'm also the Cruise Director ... just a fancy name for a special events coordinator.
When not in my office planning and taking care of details or at home doing the same, I'm cruisin' on my Harley, at least during the good weather months. When it's parked during winter, you'll find me, along with the kids and hubby, at the ski slopes engaged in another favorite activity.
I love many "-ing" words like stamping, shopping, eating out and riding my Harley. My favorite flower is a pansy. My favorite color is red.
Most importantly, I love my church, my God and just being who God created me to be!
